Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Some of you may have noticed that I’ve stopped writing all of my weekly post series (save this one). Don’t worry, they aren’t cancelled, just on hold until June like everything else. I’m currently working on bringing everything up to snuff and for that I need a bit of time and with all the real life stuff I have going on right now, I need to prep a bit.
I will still upload game reviews during this time, but, that will be about it. If everything goes as planned, I should have everything back and running starting June 1st. In the meantime, I am always open to chatting with more bloggers and writers, so definitely hit me up and say hi, a list of where to find me online is, HERE! Also, if you want to exchange Blogroll links, just let me know and I’d be more than happy to add you, however, you kind of sorta have to write about Japanese culture and media (anime, manga, otome games, etc), but I will make an exception for K-dramas a K-pop stuff!
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! I don’t know if I mentioned this before, but being an adult sucks… I can’t imagine why I ever wanted to hurry up and grow up, because I had it easy as a kid….
*claps hands* I’m still dealing with a lot of real life…stuff, so aside from a few otome game updates, this blog has been kind of dead. I want to say that next week won’t be the same, but… I’m not one to make promises I know I can’t keep, so I’ll try to post a bit, but I’ll plan to be back full steam ahead starting in June.
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Life has been throwing a lot of punches my way, but I’m hanging in there. It’s like the moment I handle one problem another one pops up to take it’s place… sigh, adulthood sucks!
Ah, remember when I mentioned that I was a writer for a new Japanese entertainment site, MANGA.TOKYO, well one of my articles finally went live this weekend! It’s a review of the BL manga Ten Count, I worked really hard on it so definitely check it out when you have the chance, by clicking, HERE. I also have a phone interview for a job on Monday, so I hope that goes well…
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Sorry I’m a bit late with this week’s recap, the OWLS Monthly Livestream was last night and when Kat, Lita, and I get together we always end up talking for hours (four hours this time, a new record). So, I opted to sleep in, on top of that Period Cube was released a few days ago and I have been swooning over a certain adorkable megane… *ahem* I’ve been otherwise engaged LOL
This has been a good year for otome games and I expect that there will be more releases in the coming weeks and months, so be warned I may go ghost during major game releases. I’m also working on a fun theme for May, so be on the look out throughout the month!
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! After a week off from these posts, the week end recaps are back!! WOOT!! I’ve been procrastinating all week, but since it’s been rainy since Tuesday, I can be forgiven for being a bit sluggish…
So, I’m working on cramming a weeks worth of work into one day… today in fact! But, it has been a slow go, because I keep getting distracted by shows and movies, Netflix is both a gift and a curse!
It’s been a few weeks since Voltage launched their new portal app Lovestruck, the hub of their English language Amemix titles. And, despite the initial fan backlash, it seems like Lovestruck is here to stay. Voltage is also planning on moving forward with their plan to phase out the individual Amemix Apps (Astoria Fates Kiss, Gangsters in Love, and Castaway: Love’s Adventure) in favor of the new app as stated in a special announcement from the developers on April 17th.
Thankfully, Voltage was kind enough to give us a heads up this time around so that players could properly adjust to the transition. You can read the official announcement from Voltage from the Official Lovestruck Tumblr account or any of Voltage Inc’s social media portals, however I will still outline the changes below:
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! I apologize for being so late with this post, but a friend invited me to his Spring Choir concert yesterday and I’ve been either applying to jobs or playing Cinderella Phenomenon for the past week…. so yeah.
Also, there will be no Last Week Today Post next week… Let me repeat that for those of you playing with your phones in the back, THERE WILL BE NO ‘LAST WEEK TODAY’ POST NEXT WEEK… I just need a week off, these posts take me hours to write since there are so many different parts to it and I usually wind up spreading it out over the entire weekend… But, not this time, I’m going to sleep in on Saturday for once!
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Y’all may have noticed that I made some changes to the blog, after weeks of hard work, I finally finished the bulk of my Spring Blog Overhaul!! YAY! I’ll tell you about all of the changes I made in the Housekeeping section, so definitely go there if you want to see what’s changed! Also, it’s only been April for 2 days and it’s already infinitely better than the entirety of March… I finally, finally got some good news!
Also, tonight is the 2nd OWLS Blog Tour Livestream, so join Lita, Kat, and I over at the Official OWLS YouTube Channel at 9PM EST for a few hours of laughs and OWLS goodness!! Last but not least, I’ll be making that super special awesome announcement that I mentioned a last week in the Houskeeping section, so be on the lookout for that!!
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! I am so ready for March to be over, because this month sucked, I guess what doesn’t kill me makes me stronger… but, is it too much to ask for a week where everything just runs smoothly?
There were some positive things that happened this week… Like I finally figured out how to crochet granny squares (joining them is the hard part) and I got to hang out with a friend from school (she helped me fix up my resume and cover letter). So all in all, this wasn’t such a terrible week…
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Daylight savings time was this week, so we lost an hour of sleep… I think… I always get confused with all these time changes, but, I was much more productive this week than I was last week. I actually managed to work on a few posts that have been sitting in my drafts for awhile! But, mostly I’ve just been rolling with the punches…
Oh, remember when I said I’d go exploring since I had the whole week off of work… well, that didn’t happen. Instead I spent the first half of the week playing a game and the second half alternating between watching the Twitch Power Rangers marathon and Marvel’s Iron Fist… But, I’m supposed to go exploring later on today, so it wasn’t a complete bust! 😛
