[OWLS Blog Tour] A Place Where I Belong: The Meaning of Family in Wolf Children

Hey hey all you Heroes and Travelers out there today I’m bringing you all another super special awesome OWLS post!! If this is your first time here at Nice Job Breaking It Hero, you were probably linked here by Zoe’s fantastic post about the familial bonds in My Hero Academia (if you haven’t I highly suggest you go read it, she did a phenomenal job)!

Back in December I mentioned that I’d joined OWLS: Otaku Warriors of Liberty and Self-Respect, a group of bloggers and vloggers that hope to spread a message of acceptance and understanding through thoughtful community activism!

Happy Holidays!!

Like the big kid that I am, I am at home in Georgia for the holidays…I love coming home! I have three younger brothers and I miss the noise and craziness of home when I’m away. So every year I come home around this time of year to recapture some of that craziness….and for the delicious food my Mom makes!

So far I have played Super Smash Bros. and Pokemon with my brothers (I hate to admit that they are way better than me). We took a trip to McDonald’s the other day to get the Hoopa event pokemon too… I love seeing them and I will miss them dearly when I have to go back to school….

So what do the holidays mean to me?

Family! No matter how big I get, I will always find time to come home and see my family. It’s important now more than ever, since two out of my three bros are going to be attending college in the Fall, and the youngest is on his way out too…might as well pin them down while I can!

So to everyone out there I hope your holiday season is full of family, food, and GAMES!
