Hey, hey guys I’m back with yet another Kickstarter campaign! This time around, I’m spotlighting Team geNe6’s upcoming dark fantasy visual novel, False Elegy. I usually focus on otome games and GxB titles, but this game really stood out from the rest. False Elegy will appeal to a rather diverse audience drawing inspiration from both Western and Japanese media.
The game will be especially appealing to fans of the Fate/Stay series and Tokyo Ghoul which were influential to the developers during production.

Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Life has been throwing a lot of punches my way, but I’m hanging in there. It’s like the moment I handle one problem another one pops up to take it’s place… sigh, adulthood sucks!
Ah, remember when I mentioned that I was a writer for a new Japanese entertainment site, MANGA.TOKYO, well one of my articles finally went live this weekend! It’s a review of the BL manga Ten Count, I worked really hard on it so definitely check it out when you have the chance, by clicking, HERE. I also have a phone interview for a job on Monday, so I hope that goes well…

So, if you haven’t noticed, there really hasn’t been that much action this week on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero and there are two reasons for that:
- Period Cube was released last week and I am working my way through the game.
- I thought it was a good idea to read fanfics on AO3…
I seriously considered keeping up with my usual blogging schedule, but the pull of my fave Haikyuu ship was a bit too strong, so I wound up not writing anything. But, don’t despair, I’ll kick myself into gear starting on Sunday… I just needed a bit of a break.
I’m working on something special for the month of May and I’ll announce it during this week’s Last Week Today post. But, if you guys need me, you can just shoot me a message on any of my social media accounts, I’m usually pretty quick to respond.
So, yeah, I don’t plan on posting anything until Sunday… everything I had planned for this week is now scheduled for next week. I will now retreat back to the warm embrace of Haikyuu fanfics…
Double entendres and buff naked hunks abound in Herculion’s upcoming 18+ BL game, Full Service. The game follows Tomoki Nakamoto an overworked young office worker with a rather cynical outlook on life. When a stranger hands him a business card to the Full Service Spa, he encounters a colorful cast of characters that are more than happy to help Tomoki relieve a little “stress”. The game is currently on Kickstarter, so feel free to stop by and show your support, there are still a few days left in the campaign. Full Service will be a fully voiced commercial release, and will be available for PC (Windows, Mac, Linux) and Android.
You know, I knew there was something familiar about this game, and after re-reading the Kickstarter page again, I discovered something that genuinely surprised me. Herculion isn’t a new group, Herculion is Black Monkey Pro reborn! I thought I was done with BMP after I reviewed the Bacchikoi Expansion Pack, but nope…they are the gift that just keeps on giving!

Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! Sorry I’m a bit late with this week’s recap, the OWLS Monthly Livestream was last night and when Kat, Lita, and I get together we always end up talking for hours (four hours this time, a new record). So, I opted to sleep in, on top of that Period Cube was released a few days ago and I have been swooning over a certain adorkable megane… *ahem* I’ve been otherwise engaged LOL
This has been a good year for otome games and I expect that there will be more releases in the coming weeks and months, so be warned I may go ghost during major game releases. I’m also working on a fun theme for May, so be on the look out throughout the month!

TGIF! It’s that time of the week again, it’s Fangirl Friday!! WOOT! I’ve been on a bit of a BL manga binge this week, so it seemed fitting that this week’s post be about one of the titles I read. If you aren’t in the mood for BL, I highly recommend checking out one of my other Fangirl Moment posts (there are a ton to choose from) by clicking right, HERE, I cover a range of topics so I’m sure you’ll find something worthwhile over there!! For everyone else, let’s get this show on the road shall we?
This week I’ll be covering the Kii Kanna’s ongoing slice of life boys love manga, Harukaze no Étranger, the sequel to her 2013 manga Umibe no Étranger. The series was released back in 2014 and as of this writing, comprises of 2 volumes, with a third on the way. While it’s prequel was was licensed in English by Renta!, this series has not been licensed for an English language audience, however it’s currently being fan translated by Stranger by the Sea Scans!

The Crossroads is a short GxB supernatural romance visual novel created by Seraphinite for the one month gamejam, NaNoRenO 2017. This is a name your own price game and is playable on Windows and Mac operating systems. The game is roughly an hour long, with two male love interests and a total of three endings.
The Crossroads tells the story of a young woman (name changeable) who is hired to house sit a large mansion in the country after losing her job and her apartment. She hopes to take the time away to get her life together, that is until she encounters two very handsome men working on the property. But all is not what it seems at the house, both men are hiding something that will change her life forever.
*If you wish to download the game, do so, HERE!*
Since developers only have a month to create these games, I will be a bit more forgiving of these titles’s shortcomings, however, that doesn’t mean I won’t give you guys my honest opinion in each review.
