Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! I apologize for being late with this post, but I was reading this amazing Kuroo x Tsukki fanfic, and I was riding the emotional highs and lows… Just wow! I watched my ship crash and burn and then… miraculously rise from the ashes, like a phoenix!! Ya’ll there are literally tears of joy in my eyes right now…
I’m still trying to recover from emotional roller coaster and there’s still one chapter left until it’s finished, but at least for the time being, my ship is safe! After I finish this post, I’m going to sink right back into KuroTsuki Hell… so, please… don’t try to rescue me…
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, next weekend I will be going to Katsucon (2/17-2/19), so aside from a crap ton of tweets, I’ll be rather hard to pin down until next Monday (2/20). The Con shouldn’t effect the blog too much since I’ll be writing most of my posts before I go, just expect replies to comments to be even slower than usual!
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! It’s February, and things have finally settled down… for the most part. The project I’m working on at my job is pretty low maintenance and I’ve finally started making some headway on my game playthroughs!!
Instead of doing actual work during my free time, I’ve been watching Bronies React videos on YouTube…and they are frickin’ awesome!! Oh, I went to see Sailor Moon R: The Movie last weekend and it was so much fun! They gave us these really cool cards with the Sailor Scouts on them. I dunno, there’s just something cool about seeing anime films on the big screen that makes the whole experience 10x more enjoyable!
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! I cant for the life of me remember everything that happened this week, which I guess is a good thing… Oh, yeah, I was put onto a new project at work so I’m still getting used to that, but other than that its been pretty chill.
Huh, this is so weird, I’m seriously drawing a blank… this week just kind of breezed by… Ah, well, onward and upward!! 😛
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week here onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! I’ve had not one, but two 3-Day weekends within the span of two weeks and you’d think I’d use the extra free time to get some actual work done, but you’d be mistaken! I actually spent the extra days off from work reading Haikyuu DJs and slacking off like a pro! 😛
Plus the Inauguration had me about ready to pull my hair out, so this wasn’t the most productive week for me… In fact, I literally waited until the end of the week to start getting things done. Also, sorry in advance, I’ll be catching up on my comments this week, so some of you all might be getting a ton of WP notifications… just a heads up! 😀
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! This was my first week back to work after having a long vacation, so I’m still trying to get back into the swing of things. It doesn’t help that the project that I’m currently working on is extremely dull and there seems to be no end in sight! *sigh*
Luckily I’ve had something fantastic to look forward to these past few weeks…*drumroll* My friend, no, my soulmate, Bishie started doing Let’s Plays on Youtube of RPG maker horror games and they are phenomenal! She creates all of these outstanding voices for each and every one of the characters in the game, that really draws the viewer in and I highly recommend giving them a watch if you have the time! You can view her channel by clicking the link…. HERE! She also writes some steamy fanfics over at Archive of Our Own, which also shouldn’t be missed!
This post has been a work in progress for over a year, but I could never quite work out how write it out, until the other day when I went to play a game in my backlog and I actually groaned… can you believe that?!
Lately, I’ve been so caught up with all the schedules and reviews, that I’ve kind of lost sight of why I started this blog in the first place: because I love otome games and I want to share that love with the world. Ha ha, it sounds silly when I write it out like that, but it’s been a long time since I really, truly enjoyed playing a game. It’s gotten to be such a chore really, buying games, playing them, writing the reviews, editing… somewhere along the way, playing otome games became a routine… *shudders* it became work and that’s something I never wanted to happen! Sure there have been games that I genuinely liked playing, in fact I played a game the other day that brought back a little of that old spark, but the magic that I had when I first started playing otome games has been gone for a little while now. So, it’s high time I reminded myself why I fell in love with otome games in the first place, before I wind up resenting them altogether.
Let me warn you guys now, this post is more for me than it is for you guys, I really needed to remember what it was that drew me to otoges. So this won’t be one of those pretty posts that I fuss over endlessly until the wording is just right and expect a lot of “…” so if you’re still with me, I want to write about how I got into otome games…
Happy New Years Heroes and Travelers, if you’re reading this, it means we made to the end of another week here onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! This was the very first week of 2017 and I know most of you guys are still getting back into the swing of things, so whether you’re heading back to work, school, or still enjoying some much needed vacation time, I hope your year started off with a bang!!
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! This week has kind of been a blur, now that the holidays are on the horizon… So, I’ve been trying to catch up on a few things before I go home for the holidays! But, the universe seems to be conspiring against me going home for Christmas, because it’s super hard to get a ticket!
December 12th marked the big reveal for the new project I have been hinting about for awhile now!! OWLS, Otaku Warriors for Liberty and Self-Respect is a group of WordPress Bloggers and Vloggers, who hope to spread love an acceptance in order to create a sense of unity and to create a space for people to feel comfortable being who they are!! On a side note, my job FINALLY paid me… but, I can’t get the money until sometime next week. -_-
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! After two weeks off of work, I finally went back to the office… only to catch a cold. So, I wound up back home in bed. I’m feeling much better now, just a few achy muscles and the ghost of a cough, so I should be good as new by Monday. But, being sick kind of put me behind with my blogging stuff…
But on a more positive note, I had the pleasure of participating in a super special awesome, livestream with fellow Bloggers Lita Kino and Katrina Sade!! It was my first ever livestream and I had a blast ya’ll!! It was so much fun chatting with these amazing ladies and I would absolutely love to do it again *wink wink* In case you missed all of the fun here is a link to the video!!
Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week onNice Job Breaking It, Hero! My supervisor was out of the office all this week so I had another impromptu vacation! Of course I spent the entire week binge watching shows on netflix!
So I’m finally all caught up with How To Get Away With Murder and I can tell you that I am devastated by the big reveal! I just… I can’t believe they did that! In slightly more positive news, I also watched the Gilmore Girls revival and I must say I am content with that ending, but I am a little hurt that Jess wasn’t featured as prominently in the overall story! 😦
Finally, this week I have a special request for you all which you can find in the Housekeeping section!! So definitely check that out!!
