Hello all you wonderful Heroes and Travelers, it’s been awhile, but…. *drumroll* It’s Thrifty Thursday and that means another Thrifty Gaming post, the weekly post series where I spotlight three games/visual novels for gamers on a budget. Whatever your financial situation, I’m here to bring you affordable games that won’t break the bank!! All of the games on this list are $10 or less (does not include limited time offers and sale items), so no more weepy wallets!

This week’s post will include links to the games and a brief synopsis, but let me stress that these are not reviews, but recommendations… so your mileage may vary! Now that that’s out of the way lets get on to this week’s list!!

Red Embrace- (2018)- Argent Games

The graveyard shift at a dingy diner in San Francisco — that’s where MC’s story begins. It’s just another normal night, or at least it seems to be.

…That is, until a certain mysterious customer stops by, bringing the dangerous attention of a few people with him. When it rains, it pours, and suddenly MC finds himself in the middle of a war he didn’t even know existed… between vampires.

How does MC react to the dark, violent world that opens up before him? That’s up to you!

Synopsis (Game Site)

Red Embrace is a BxB supernatural romance visual novel with four unique pursuable male characters, each with their own distinct endings (8 total; 4 Good and 4 Bad). Currently, Luka’s route is available for free when you download the demo, while the remaining three routes can only be played when you purchase the full game.

Bahadur’s Story is the second chapter in the Wilder series. The game features one romanceable love interest with two distinctive endings for players to pursue. The game does feature some explicit content, which can be altered using a special in game toggle feature.

Spend the night as a Paramedium Cleric and see if you have what it takes to survive.

Synopsis (Game Site)

Paramedium is a short supernatural role playing visual novel. While the game does feature a bit of reading, there are a few point and click combat-like sequences in which the player is tasked with taking out ghosts that appear on the screen.
