So, a little while ago, I was asked to participate in a beta test for an upcoming anime themed tower defense game from Bizurk Software, TinyWars! The game has been in development since 2015 and will be available for PC and mobile devices upon it’s release.
I’ve played a few tower defense mobile games before, but they were never more than a way to pass the time on the commute to and from school. So when I was asked to participate in the beta testing for the game I didn’t expect much, but TinyWars proved to be both fun and challenging!

I am a sucker for high school romance stories, no matter how cheesy and cliche they are, I always find myself captivated by the innocence of the stories. On the surface Storm Lover Kai is your typical high school romance fluff; girl meets boy, girl dates boy. But, there is so much more to this game than that, the player has the power to craft a love story all their own. You can be a monogamous Mary Sue or a heartbreaker, in Storm Lover Kai, the choice is up to you!
In 2012, D3Publisher released Storm Lover Kai, a remake of their 2010 hit Storm Lover. The game boasts improved graphics, more CGs, and a slightly expanded plot. But, since I’ve never played the original Storm Lover, all of these improvements are kind of lost on me. So my opinion of the game is based solely on SLK. On the surface it’s just like any other High School stat building, event based otome game, relentlessly stalk your crush until he succumbs to your girlish charm.

TGIF! Here we are again with another Fangirl Friday! After cancelling last week’s FM post, I am back in full form, with a fun anime related Fangirl Moment write up. But, first I should probably explain what Fangirl Moments are, since I’ve gotten few new followers recently… *ahem* Fangirl Moment posts are short weekly posts that cover a wide range of subject matter (usually anime, manga, books, or films). I choose the topic at random and they always come out on Fridays, if you are curious about my previous FM posts, click HERE, for the Master list or use the top menu to view posts by topic!
So this week’s post is about an anime series that I’ve recently started watching, an anime series that has been the biggest ship tease I have ever seen… I’m talking about *drumroll* Yuri!!! On Ice…
So, I guess now would be the time to admit that when I first saw the announcement for this series a few months ago, I was actually planning on not watching it at all… In general, I’m not a huge fan of sports anime, with Haikyuu being the only exception, so when a friend from Line demanded I watch the series with her, I wasn’t very enthusiastic…

When I finished writing up all of the Liar Routes, I said I’d write reviews for the Lovers Routes too. Well here I am finally making good on that promise! Actually I was waiting for Voltage to release Mr. Right’s Lovers Route before I started in on these reviews. I just had to know if there was any truth to that plot twist at the end of the 9th Liar arc… and boy did Voltage go out with a bang on this one!! I wasn’t ready for all of the feels!
Since this is the first Lovers Route review, I want to clarify some things… *ahem* Unlike the Liar Main Stories, the Lovers Routes are not free. Let me repeat that for the folks in the back; THE LOVERS ROUTES ARE NOT FREE! Lovers Routes can be purchased with coins, which players can purchase with cash!! The 12 chapter Main Stories cost 800 coins while the 3 chapter Epilogues cost 450 coins, which if you get both is roughly $8.00 total. But, Voltage has been giving away free daily login coins so if you horde coins you can purchase stories without spending any cash.
Now that that is out of the way, I should also mention that there are only FIVE Lovers Routes, one each for Liars 6-9 and one for Mr. Right. So, if you want to romance one of the earlier liars, you are plum out of luck! If you want a spoiler free review of Liar! Uncover the Truth, click… HERE! If you want to read more about Mr. Right from the Liar main stories, click right, HERE!!
**Disclaimer: I DO NOT own any of the images used in this review, ALL images, screenshots, and characters belong to Voltage Inc. Please if you are interested in the game, download the game for free in the App Store or from Google Play and purchase the stories when they are available in your area. Also this post will contain spoilers, do with that what you will…**

Edit (12/17): The Kickstarter for this game was successful at meeting its funding goal. The final funding amount was $6,248 from 194 backers! The game has a tentative release date for Spring 2017!
Hey hey everyone, I’m taking a break from exploring the lovely Alola region to bring you yet another Kickstarter campaign!! I originally included the campaign in one of my Last Week Today posts, but one thing lead to another and I wasn’t able to get around to writing a post about it…
So, this time around I am excited to bring you guys the campaign for Fancy Fish Games’s upcoming VR inspired visual novel, </reality>!!

Hello Heroes and Travelers, here we are at the end of another week on Nice Job Breaking It, Hero! I am well aware of how late this week’s post is, Pokemon has kind of taken over my life… I have been playing nonstop since the release on Friday….
I managed to get the whole week off, which means even more time to play my copy of Pokemon Moon!! I’m also suposed to be cooking Turkey Day dinner this year, for the first time in my life and I am just a little overwhelmed… Does anyone know how long I should cook a 10 lb turkey?

Since Pokemon Sun and Moon was released today, I’m cancelling this week’s Fangirl Moment post so I can play it! I probably could have written a quick Fangirl Friday post last night or right now while I wait for my local Gamestop to open, but when I try to force them they never seem to come out right…
But, that is besides the point, the fact of the matter is that I am putting everything on hold while I play Pokemon Moon. So don’t expect much from me in the next few days, as I will be busy exploring Alola!
As of right now, the Last Week Today post for 11/13 to 11/19 isn’t cancelled… but, we’ll see how that goes come Sunday.
This game was originally on my Summer Game Playlist, but one thing led to another and I never got around to actually playing it before the end of the summer. If I’m being honest, I never intended to get through that list in the first place since I have a habit of getting distracted by new games easily… *cough* Liar Uncover the Truth *cough* So, now that I’ve finished wallowing in mobile otoge hell, I’ve finally decided to revisit some of the games from my poor neglected backlog (so expect many more First Thoughts posts in the coming days and weeks). The first game on the agenda is Aeon Dream Studios’s (aka Star Maiden Games) debut title, Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons.
Okay, so first things first, Mystic Destinies: Serendipity of Aeons was released back in February and while the prologue and the first chapters of each route are free, the Main Stories and Epilogues are $4.99 and $1.99 respectively. There are five romanceable characters, but as of this post only three guys have been released (number four, Takumi will be released later on this month)…
**Disclaimer: I DO NOT own any of the images used in this review, ALL images, screenshots, and characters belong to Aeon Dream Studios. Please if you are interested in the game, purchase the game either through itch.io or through Steam!!
